Senior Surveyor – Asset & Property Management

Location: London

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits

Hybrid working: 3 days office

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Surveyor with a strong focus on asset management to join a leading property consultancy. This role is central to delivering proactive strategies that enhance investment returns across a diverse commercial portfolio, including multi-let industrial estates, offices, retail, mixed-use properties, and leisure assets.

The position involves working closely with senior colleagues to implement asset management initiatives, identify opportunities for value enhancement, and provide strategic advice to clients. You will also support property and facilities management functions, but the emphasis will be on driving asset performance and delivering measurable results

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies to improve portfolio performance

• Advise clients on opportunities for value enhancement and investment returns

• Manage landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals and rent reviews

• Prepare and review service charge budgets and year-end accounts

• Oversee rent and service charge collection and liaise with client accountants

• Coordinate with internal teams for dilapidations, valuations, lettings, and cost consultancy

• Supervise junior surveyors and support health and safety compliance

About You

• MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience) with 2–4 years PQE preferred

• Strong knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation and asset management principles

• Proven ability to deliver strategic advice and identify value-add opportunities

• Skilled in service charge budgeting and reconciliation

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is desirable
