A well-established, London-based developer/contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its newly restructured commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business entering an exciting phase of growth, with a strong pipeline of major student accommodation and residential schemes across Zones 2 and 3.
This business is a long-standing property group with a substantial residential and commercial asset base across London. Its construction division delivers projects in-house and is now expanding its project delivery and external contracting capability.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of a number of significant London schemes. Your initial focus will be on several student accommodation projects ranging from 200–600 units, at varying stages of pre-construction and delivery. This position provides consistent exposure to meaningful, high-value projects and a clear pathway for progression as the business continues to grow.
You will be involved in all aspects of the commercial function, including:
- Assisting with procurement of major packages
- Supporting tender processes, contract administration, and commercial reporting
- Cost planning, forecasting, and risk management
- Reviewing drawings, carrying out take-offs and measurements
- Supporting the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard
