About the Role A Property Consultancy in the West Midlands are looking for a Senior Client Accountant to join their thriving team! As a Senior Client Accountant you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial affairs of their valued clients by ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly reporting, compliance, as well as providing strategic financial guidance enabling the business to thrive as a direct result of your input. You will oversee a team of Client Accountants and confidently manage client relationships ensuring the best service is provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee a team of Client Accountants
• Prepare and review financial statements for a portfolio of clients
• Manage client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Handle VAT returns, tax computations, and compliance requirements
• Provide proactive advice to clients on financial performance and growth opportunities
• Liaise with auditors, HMRC, and other stakeholders as needed
• Maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication,
Requirements
• Extensive proven experience in Client Accounting and in handling Service Charge is a necessity.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Experience in Team Leadership/People Management preferred
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities
