Serious portfolio. Zero corporate nonsense.
We’re partnering with a successful and fast‑growing commercial property firm that manages a substantial, confidential portfolio across West London and the Home Counties. The business is lean, profitable and expanding and due to the sheer workload, they’re now looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to step in and take ownership of key client relationships and a broad mix of commercial assets.
This is a role for someone who prefers autonomy over bureaucracy, real work over corporate theatre, and direct communication over fluff.
You'll report directly into the business owner.
There are no direct reports, but plenty of interaction with client‑side departments including legal, accounts, building surveying, planning and development as they report into you.
This is a place where competence is valued, honesty is appreciated, and you’re trusted to get on with the job.
The Clients
The client base is large, varied and commercially significant, including:
- Major multinational organisations on long‑term retainers.
- High‑net‑worth individuals with diverse holdings.
- Energy‑sector clients with expanding assets.
- A well‑established relationship with a close‑knit business community.
- Several large PLC divisions and professional teams.
Client interaction is regular and senior, typically weekly communication, with formal monthly meetings, as departments may report into you.
The Role
This is a hands‑on, senior, client‑facing position where you’ll manage a sizeable commercial portfolio while also supporting wider asset‑management and agency‑related activity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a mix of commercial properties.
- Acting as a key point of contact for multiple senior client departments.
- Carrying out site inspections and ensuring operational standards are met.
- Providing strategic input and broad commercial guidance.
- Supporting agency‑linked tasks where required.
- Handling high‑pressure periods and managing a substantial workload.
This is not a narrow service‑charge‑heavy role. It requires a broad understanding of commercial property and the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders.
Who We’re Looking For
- 10+ years experienced in commercial property.
- MRICS (essential).
- Exceptionally strong with clients.
- Comfortable managing complex, high‑pressure workloads.
- Straightforward, grounded and good at integrating into a mature team.
- Tired of the corporate environment and ready for something more human.
- Experienced enough to own relationships and onboard new business as needed.
