Credit Controller – Property / Real Estate

This is a role for a Credit Controller who already knows the property / real estate world — rent cycles, service charges, managing agents, and the commercial realities behind them. 

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a property-focused debtor ledger, ensuring timely collection of rents and charges while working closely with property managers and internal stakeholders. This is a visible role with real influence on cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing rent, service charge, and fee collections
• Chasing arrears and resolving tenant and agent queries
• Producing aged debt and cash flow reports
• Working alongside property managers to prevent and resolve disputes
• Setting up and monitoring payment plans
• Supporting month-end and reconciliations

What We’re Looking For

• Credit Control experience within property / real estate (essential)
• Strong understanding of rent cycles and service charges
• Confident communicator with tenants, agents, and internal teams
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable owning your ledger
