My client is looking for an experienced Asset Surveyor to support a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties within the charity sector. If you’re confident conducting surveys, diagnosing issues, and keeping projects moving, this is a great opportunity to step into a varied and meaningful role.
What you’ll do
- Carry out stock condition, maintenance and HHSRS surveys
- Diagnose building defects and specify practical solutions
- Produce drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Oversee contractor performance and major works
- Ensure compliance with CDM and all regulatory requirements
- Liaise with tenants, contractors and external partners
- Support service improvement and data reporting
What you’ll bring
- Strong technical knowledge of building construction and regulations
- Confident with defect diagnosis, measured surveys and cost estimating
- Experience managing contractors and planned works
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- IT‑proficient (Excel, Word, CAD/Visio desirable)
- Professional qualifications or memberships (RICS/CIAT/MCIOB) are ideal
