Interim Rural Estate Manager

This is a pivotal role handling the Portfolio & Asset Management on a significant rural estate and land portfolio.

This is a chance to shape how public land is managed, balancing commercial outcomes, compliance and community value. 

You’ll be responsible for delivering strategic advice to Council Members and senior officers, managing external providers and driving performance across a complex estate.

Priorities in this role will include: 

• Leading on rural asset strategy within council governance
• Collaborate with and advise Members, Officers, Contractors & Service Providers
• Oversee tenant liaison, site inspections & lease management
• Monitor KPIs, budgets & reporting systems
• Identify risks, cost-saving measures & revenue opportunities
• Support outsourcing plans for property & lease management
