Lead Technical Strategy Across 2M Sq Ft of Prime London Real Estate
A leading real estate organisation is seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of technical services across a high-profile commercial portfolio in London.
You’ll lead a well-structured team and manage all aspects of technical service delivery — from planned and reactive maintenance to compliance, lifecycle planning, and capital projects. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the technical services team
- Manage external service partners and monitor performance
- Drive compliance, energy efficiency, and service innovation
- Oversee building systems (M&E, BMS, EMS, life safety, lifts, etc.)
- Deliver capital projects and lifecycle planning
- Support mobilisation of new buildings and defect resolution
- Collaborate across departments to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical FM leadership
- Large portfolio management (client or contractor side)
- Strong team leadership and project delivery skills
- Mechanically or electrically qualified (F-Gas or 18th Edition)
- IOSH or NEBOSH certified
- Degree in FM, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
