A respected independent property firm is looking for someone who knows how to run a commercial portfolio well - and wants the autonomy to do it properly. You’ll manage 65 clients / 300 properties, with a supportive, long‑tenured team around you but no micromanaging.
Ideal for someone who’s done the London pace and wants a more balanced, local role with just as much impact. The company is growing steadily, and there’s potential for this position to evolve into building and shaping a small team as the portfolio expands.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of a diverse commercial portfolio, covering offices, retail and mixed‑use assets. This is a hands‑on, independent role where you’re trusted to manage your workload and relationships confidently.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day‑to‑day operations across a busy commercial portfolio
- Respond to tenant and landlord queries with a practical, solutions‑focused approach
- Oversee service charge budgets and collaborate with internal support
- Carry out inspections, ensure compliance and coordinate maintenance
- Bring structure, reliability and professional judgement to the portfolio

Who You Are
- Confident managing a mixed, commercial‑led portfolio independently
- Experienced in commercial property management with a proactive mindset
- Comfortable overseeing service charges
- Organised, dependable and steady under pressure
- Ideally have London experience and want something more local
- MRICS welcome but not essential
