FTC Asset Manager

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Asset manager who has deal brokering experience to join the Western Corridor team on a fixed term contract.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll help manage the performance of a diverse portfolio, working across leasing, rent reviews, estate enhancement, and development initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in Asset Management, Leasing, Technical Development, and Customer Management, playing a key part in delivering income growth, ERV uplift, and long‑term capital performance.

Asset Enhancement

• Support the delivery of Estate Asset Plans and wider portfolio strategy.
• Progress rent reviews and lease renewals, making recommendations or negotiating directly where appropriate.
• Work with customers to understand their business needs and secure new lettings (including expansions, contractions, and back‑to‑back deals).
• Contribute to redevelopment strategies, including relocations and achieving vacant possession for future development.
• Oversee customer applications for assignments, underlettings, and alterations, protecting covenant strength.
• Support sustainability initiatives aligned with our Responsible SEGRO framework, contributing to both environmental and community impact goals.

Deal Negotiation & Completion

• Manage the take‑back process, including instructing dilapidations and coordinating with Property Management.
• Assist with business rates mitigation initiatives.
• Brief and liaise with legal representatives throughout deal progression.

What You'll Bring

• MRICS (Or working towards it)
• Working knowledge of Landlord & Tenant property law
• 5+ years in Leasing / Asset Management
• Negotiation and networking skills
• Client relationship skills
