Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the school’s facilities and estates strategy
- Supervise day‑to‑day facilities operations across the campus
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and statutory requirements
- Assist with planned and reactive maintenance, coordinating contractors and site staff
- Monitor budgets and ensure value for money across facilities activities
- Support minor projects, refurbishments, and sustainability initiatives
- Act as a first point of contact for staff regarding facilities issues and service requests
Requirements
- Experience in facilities, estates, or site operations ideally within a school or similar environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to supervise contractors and work collaboratively with internal teams
- A hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach
- Confidence managing workloads, prioritising tasks, and responding quickly to issues
