Senior Property Manager

We’re working with a local Property Company in Berkshire that is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a diverse commercial portfolio. This role is ideal for someone confident, commercially focused and capable of managing multi‑site assets while maintaining strong relationships with occupiers, landlords and contractors. You’ll play a key part in shaping the long‑term management strategy and supporting ongoing portfolio growth.

The Role

You will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of commercial properties across Berkshire and the surrounding region. The position involves hands‑on day‑to‑day management, operational oversight, financial control and ensuring best‑in‑class service delivery. Regular site inspections, contractor coordination and close work with internal support functions forming key elements of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of multi‑let commercial properties, including offices, industrial units and retail assets.
• Preparing, managing and reconciling annual service charge budgets.
• Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across all buildings.
• Conducting regular property inspections and producing reports.
• Supporting landlord and asset management initiatives to enhance property performance.
• Building strong working relationships with occupiers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensuring full compliance with H&S and statutory obligations.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and confident in decision‑making.
• Solid experience in managing commercial property portfolios.
• Comfortable in a driving role with regular site visits across the region.
• A team player who can integrate into a mature and supportive environment.
• Experience working with agents, surveyors and external stakeholders is beneficial.
