Senior Asset Manager

We’re partnering with a respected Property Investment and Management business in Middlesex that is seeking an experienced Commercial Asset Manager to take ownership of a diverse and growing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone commercially astute, proactive and confident in driving asset performance while maintaining strong relationships with occupiers, stakeholders and service partners.

You’ll play a strategic and operational role in shaping the long‑term value of the portfolio and supporting ongoing investment and growth initiatives.

The Role

You will oversee a varied portfolio of commercial assets across the South East, taking responsibility for both asset‑level strategy and day‑to‑day management. This includes improving income performance, ensuring high operational standards, overseeing financial management and delivering first‑class service to occupiers.

Regular site inspections, contractor management and collaborative work with internal teams (finance, facilities and investment) form key elements of the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of multi‑let commercial properties, including offices, industrial units and retail assets.
• Implementing and supporting asset management strategies to enhance value, rental income and occupancy.
• Preparing, managing and reconciling annual service charge budgets.
• Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across the estate.
• Conducting regular property inspections and delivering clear, detailed reporting.
• Engaging with tenants to build strong, positive relationships and ensure high retention levels.
• Working with contractors and consultants to ensure best‑in‑class service delivery.
• Ensuring full compliance with all statutory and health & safety obligations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills who is commercially minded, proactive and confident in their decision‑making. You’ll bring solid experience managing commercial property portfolios and be comfortable taking a hands‑on approach with regular site visits across the region. A collaborative team player, you’ll integrate well into a proactive and supportive environment, and experience working with agents, surveyors and other external stakeholders will be a valuable advantage.
