Capital Delivery Project Manager Role

• This local authority is embarking on its largest capital investment programme ever. They are delivering large scale refurbishment programmes to occupied council homes which is £51m.
• The projects that are currently being delivered are mostly building envelope works to low rise blocks, that have already been tendered and packaged and that are due on site early in the new year.
• A separate commercial team has been recently set up, providing commercial support. The contractors used have been specifically tendered and are not partnering contractors.
• You will solely be focusing on the delivery of these projects, which the initial stages will be handed over from the pre-construction team.

Capital Delivery Project Manager Experience.

• Experienced construction project manager with public sector experience.
• Experience not limited to new build delivery.
• Experience of delivering works to occupied residential units for either local authorities or housing associations.
• Well-developed people skills, able to communicate well with a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience of working with the JCT form of contract.
• Good technical knowledge of construction management.
