Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is an important hire within a business entering an exciting period of growth, with a strong pipeline of major student accommodation and residential schemes across Zones 2 and 3.

The hiring company is a long-standing property group with a substantial residential and commercial asset base across London. Its construction division delivers in-house projects and is now scaling up its project delivery and external contracting capability.

This is a prime opportunity to step into a business where your experience will directly shape delivery standards, team culture, and long-term commercial strategy.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take a lead commercial role across a series of significant London developments. Your initial focus will be to take on a hand full of student accommodation schemes in London between 200-600 units at varying different stages. This role offers continuous exposure to meaningful, high-value developments that will shape the next phase of the business’s growth.

You will be responsible for driving commercial excellence across pre-construction and delivery, including:

• Procurement of major packages
• Leading tender processes, contract negotiations, and commercial reporting
• Early procurement strategy, cost planning, and risk management
• Reviewing drawings, conducting takeoffs, elevations
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
