General Manager - Build to Rent

Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations and management of a thriving Build to rent development, ensuring the community is running smoothly and efficiently. you will be tasked with providing high-quality services and amenities for residents while maintaining a positive and enriching living environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall quality of the later living community.

2. Manage day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resident relations.

3. Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

4. Coordinate and oversee facility maintenance and upgrades to improve the living experience.

5. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to attract new residents and maintain high occupancy rates.

6. Foster a sense of community and belonging among residents through social events and activities.

7. Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a prompt and professional manner.

8. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations.

9. Monitor and analyse financial performance to ensure the development meets or exceeds revenue goals.

10. Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to align goals and objectives with the overall company strategy.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in Hospitality Management, or related field.

2. Proven experience in senior living management or property management.

3. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.

5. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving capabilities to manage complex operations.

6. Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements related to later living communities.

7. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

8. Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.

9. Certification in Build to Rent management or related fields is a plus.

10. Prior experience working with older adults or in the senior living industry is preferred.
