My client a Commercial Investor are seeking a dynamic Senior Property Accountant to oversee a diverse portfolio, including Industrial, Retail, and Residential properties. Your expertise will drive financial efficiency and excellence across their £5billion business, where they are looking to expand at an impressive rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage service charges, collaborating with Asset and Property Managers to ensure timely budgets and expenditure reports.
• Conduct thorough Actual v Budget analyses, advising on cost management strategies.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate financial recording and analysis.
• Spearhead improvements in cost management and collections performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specialized finance strategies.

Person Specification:

• Proficient in lease interpretation and cost recovery mechanisms.
• Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
• Resilient and deadline-driven, capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Innovative mindset, eager to identify and implement improvements.
• Previous experience in property accounting preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong system skills.

Qualifications:

• GCSE Grade C or above in English and Math (or equivalent).
• AAT Level 3 or equivalent (desirable).
