A Multi Academy Trust based within one of the most scenic counties in England spanning coastlines and national parks is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team.

This is your opportunity to join a trust that has convincingly navigated the pupil numbers decrease and cost of living external factors in recent years to keep a strong community focused trust where children outcomes are at the forefront.

You will work alongside an extremely qualified and progressive Headteacher who believes in elevating the skills of the employees at the trust.

If you are looking to upskill or further qualify yourself then not only will this be prioritised it will also be financially supported.

As the Chief Finance Officer, it is your opportunity to provide strong leadership to the financial team, continue to improve on the day-to-day operational finances whilst looking to progress the Trust through strategic thinking.

Ideally, you would have experience building networks, navigate funding, be driven, strategic with managerial experience.

You do not have to have previous education experience. This trust is forward thinking and understands their next CFO can come from anywhere.

This trust offers a Central Business Team that is a part of the school’s community. When working from the office, you will be amongst the lively school atmosphere ensuring that all members of staff “don’t feel like a number”.

Let me elaborate, at the Trust, you will be working a 41-week contract. Essentially it is a term time role with 2 additional weeks that are to be managed by you, to allocate based of workload.
