Deputyt S151 Officer Needed in Leicester
I am currently recruiting a Deputy Section 151 for a council in Leicester where you will be needed in the office once a week.
As Deputy S151 Officer you will have the responsibility to ensure that the Council, its officers, and its Elected Councillors, have a good understanding of the Council’s finances and that the Council retains its reputation of being financially well managed.
They are looking for an individual who is passionate, driven, and forward-thinking, and who can work collaboratively with stakeholders. The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified or have extensive relevant local government finance experience. You will be passionate about sharing your knowledge with a committed and dedicated finance team and be an accomplished communicator. You will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, working across the organisation on corporate initiatives and will enjoy working in a supportive environment and culture.
The client is offering £500 - £650pd with the hands on managerial role.
