Highways Engineer (Legal Agreements)

We are working with a local authority situated in Yorkshire in their search for an s278/38 Engineer with the skillset to be able to aid the Highways Adoptions team by conducting both s278 and s38 agreements on behalf of a local authority.

A key element of this role is working with the authority to;

1. Undertake and assist with the design of new development-related highway projects, and the highway adoption process as needed.
2. Work with developers and highway consultants on the design of highway schemes, from the pre-application stage to completion of construction on site, which will facilitate development, in particular with relation to Section 38's

The highway schemes will include work such as; a mix of rural and urban sites.

• This role lands inside IR35, contracted for 6 months initially, with the likeliness to renew.
• WFH hybridity is available, would be appreciated to come into the offices once per week. (Car needed for site visits)
