Make a Difference for Food Safety in Somerset

A council based in Somerset are seeking a contractor to come in and support them with a vacant Food Safety post within the team.

 The Role

  • Based in Sommerset
  • £42-46p/h
  • Minimum 24 hours per week up to 30 hours
  • Expected start date of October
  • Contract till end of 2025 (likely extension)

 

What is required

  • Inspecting categories C, D and Es across all of Somerset
  • Write ups to be done on paper form which can either be dropped in or scanned via email
  • Experience within a Local Authority and a proven track record of conducting Food Inspections
  • BSc (Hons) Environmental Health or Higher Certificate in Food Control (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB)
