A Food contract till the end of financial year?
A local authority in Kent are looking for an Environmental Health Officer/Food Safety Officer to assist the Environmental Health team with food hygiene inspections in the district alongside other statutory functions undertaken by the Food & Safety Team.
The Role Details
- September/October start date
- 6 months contract
- Hourly/PPI rates
- Minimum 20-24 hours or 8-10 inspections per week
- New food registrations, CAT D and CAT E inspections
What Is Required?
- BSc (Hons) Environmental Health or Higher Certificate in Food Control (or equivalent)
- Registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB)
- Previous Local Authority knowledge, experience and expertise in relation to Food Safety, Health and Safety and infectious disease control legislation and best practice.
