Are you someone who is dedicated to improving towns and communities through culture, heritage and arts?
A council in the Midlands is looking for someone within the culture, arts, and heritage space to hit the ground running and help drive forward diverse cultural programmes, engage with the community, and work with the Arts Council on relevant projects.
Some duties may involve you to:
- Secure funding and manage budgets for arts and heritage projects, including bids to Arts Council England, NLHF, UKSPF and other relevant funding streams.
- Look over heritage-led regeneration and cultural placemaking within town centres and public spaces.
- Create and maintain partnerships across education, tourism, and creative industries to amplify impact and reach.
Useful skills for this role:
- Experience in arts management, heritage programming, or cultural development
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of cultural policy, funding streams, and community engagement strategies.
