I am working with a council who have an upcoming opportunity within their accomplished Trading Standards team. If you share our passion for supporting good business practice and for protecting the residents of local areas, this could be a great match.

The Role

  • £30-40p/h
  • 6-month contract
  • 30 hour flexible working week
  • Hybrid working

Expectations of the role

  • Responsible for the enforcement of legislation through inspection, sampling, testing
  • Investigating and reporting on complaints and enquires from the public and liaising with business
  • Advising businesses in the area to ensure they are maintaining compliance with legal requirements
  • Appropriate professional qualification e.g. Diploma in Trading Standards
