A council in the Kent area is looking for a talented Licensing Officer to start in their team now! The role offers 37 hours a week and a chance of flexible hybrid-working over a 3-month initial contract with a chance of extension.
The Licensing Officer position involves:
- Experience in all of LA03, Taxi and private hire and street trading
- The processing and granting of licences and permits within the statutory timeframe
- Investigation, enforcement and prosecution action where necessary in relation to premises, vehicles and people
- Ensuring that the entries into the licensing database and public registers are accurate and
up-to-date
