Your next role

It’s time for the next step.
You’ve earned it.

6 month contract

Do you miss the office banter? Since Covid there has been a real emphasis on working from home, however this is not for everyone. If you prefer to separate your work from your home life and enjoy being out on district, this could be the role for you.

We're seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Contractor to cover Principal Environmental Health Officer (EHO) duties for a minimum of 3 months, at a local authority based in South West England. You'll work closely with a small but busy team, managing statutory nuisances, sound level monitoring, and Environmental Permit inspections.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience in Environmental Protection, preferably as a qualified EHO, with a strong knowledge base and the ability to hit the ground running. Experience in air quality would be advantageous but not essential.

A full driving license and personal transport are required, with flexibility for remote work and responsive site visits. Normal working hours are 37 hours per week, with flexibility and occasional pre-planned work outside normal hours. Although the role will be predominantly office based, there will also be the potential to work from home depending on the workload.
