How does Licensing in the Garden of England sound?
A council in the green garden of Kent are on the search for a Licensing Officer. The role offers the opportunity for an initial 3 month contract with the view to offer the successful professional a permanent position.
The Role
- £25-30p/h which would turn into £30-33k with car allowance
- 3 month contract offering permanent at the end
- 37 hour working week
- Flexibility with the required 2 days in office per week
Expectations of the role
- Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Taxis/Private Hire Vehicles and Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 knowledge required
- Investigation, enforcement and prosecution action where necessary on inspections
- Preparing reports and entering information into the local licensing database in accurate manner
