Are you someone who has an eye in the arbioculture industry?

A local authority in the Midlands is looking for an experienced Tree Officer to join the team and help manage the health, safety, and sustainability of trees across the borough.

Some responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct tree inspections and risk assessments across public and private land
  • Provide expert advice on tree preservation orders (TPOs), planning applications, and development proposals
  • Coordinate tree maintenance, planting, and removal programs
  • Liaise with residents, developers, and contractors to promote best practices in arboriculture
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to long-term tree management strategies.
  • A relevant qualification in arboriculture or forestry would be ideal for this role but not mandatory.
