Senior Management Accountant

On behalf of a leading Operational Living client, who have marketed themselves as a design led, prideful haven for their residence is looking to appoint a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant.

In this newly created role you will be joining the finance team at a pivotal point of their growth plans, working alongside the Finance Director to drive the financial direction for the company. You will be tasked to take full ownership of their audit processes and financial reporting duties across the companies 70+ entities with regular liaising with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. 

This is an unique opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial integrity of the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency across the companies. It is also a position where as the company grows in portfolio, your position, responsibilities and roles within the company will too. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
• Maintain and reconcile trial balance and general ledger
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor and assess operational costs against budgets
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and maintain VAT records
• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Track and control costs to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain detailed records of individual assets and depreciation
• Prepare asset reports and support audit processes
• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management
• Collaborate with departments to support financial planning
• Contribute to financial systems and process improvements
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial platforms
