A global real estate investor, developer and manager whose focus is to create assets that strengthen communities and economies are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their London team.

This role is responsible for the full cycle accounting of a portfolio of corporate and property-owning legal entities based in the UK. 

You’ll manage the month-end close process, budgets and forecasts, quarterly and annual financial statements, cash management, and reporting to partners and boards, while also supporting audits and treasury requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Months End Close: Lead the monthly and quarterly close process for a portfolio of legal entities, including posting journals, preparing reconciliations (cash, debt, equity, intercompany), variance analysis, and VAT returns.
  • Reporting: 
    Prepare reporting packs, management accounts, and board materials; produce joint venture reports and liaise with partners; support annual business plan preparation and presentations.
  • Annual Reporting & Audit:
    Assist with the preparation of IFRS financial statements, consolidated accounts, and audit working papers; respond to auditor queries in a timely manner.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: 
    Contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, working closely with asset managers to align assumptions; perform variance analysis and update cash flow models.
  • Cash & Treasury Management: 
    Monitor bank balances and cash flow requirements; prepare documentation for contributions and distributions; support loan compliance reporting and ensure timely interest payments.
  • Asset Management Support: 
    Conduct financial due diligence on tenants, review property occupancy data, and assist in preparing quarterly and annual asset management reports.
