Enforcement Officer

A Local Authority in Essex is looking for an Interim Enforcement officer to assist with several emerging enforcement matters, along with some backlog, for an initial 3 months at 

They will offer hybrid working, but will expect you to be in the office for 2x days per week. 

Case load includes:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 85-90
  • Dealing with unauthorised changes of use (e.g., HMOs)
  • Handling listed building cases
  • Investigating removal of trees
  • Addressing waste tips and fires
  • Managing traveller-related cases
  • Providing cautions when necessary during site visits
