A local authority in the Leicestershire area is seeking an Interim Senior or Principal Development Management Planner to support a busy DM team and help drive timely, high‑quality decision making.
You’ll step into a varied caseload that includes:
- Householder extensions and alterations
- Change‑of‑use proposals, including HMOs and commercial redevelopments
- Major‑site condition discharge work relating to drainage, SUDs, archaeology, open space and construction‑phase requirements on strategic sites
- Community and leisure developments, such as club facility upgrades
- Tree and conservation‑area applications, alongside full applications across both rural villages and the main market town
The authority is also implementing service improvements and backlog‑reduction measures, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced interim who can make an immediate impact.
