Become a Maintenance Technician at One of London’s Most Thriving and Beautifully Designed PBSA Schemes

My client is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operative to join the team at a beautifully designed PBSA scheme in London.

This is more than just a maintenance role, it’s your chance to be part of a company that’s reshaping what student living looks and feels like.

The mission? To go far beyond bricks and mortar by building vibrant, connected communities where students are empowered to grow, thrive, and feel at home.

With a rapidly growing portfolio of student homes across the UK, this team is known for design led spaces, a strong focus on wellbeing, and a bold commitment to innovation.

Sustainability sits at the core of everything they do, from solar panels and energy efficient systems to cutting edge monitoring tech that makes their buildings greener and smarter.

As a Maintenance Operative, you’ll take pride in keeping the building safe, operational, and welcoming, taking ownership of both reactive and planned maintenance tasks. You’ll be a key part of the resident experience, helping to create a comfortable, high-quality environment students are proud to live in.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose driven company at an exciting time of growth, where your skills matter, your ideas are valued, and your career can truly progress.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Quickly resolve common resident issues, including plumbing, basic repairs, and general maintenance.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort across rooms and shared spaces.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plant rooms, communal areas, and service points.
  • Support and coordinate with on-site contractors, ensuring compliance with H&S protocols.

Your Requirements:

  • Experience in PBSA, BTR, co-living, or hospitality sectors.
  • Competency in plumbing, carpentry, or other core maintenance skills.
  • Confident working with contractors and external service providers.
  • Strong focus on customer service and creating a positive resident experience.
  • A team player with clear communication skills and a proactive attitude.
