Experienced HRA Accountant needed (6 months)

I am working with a council in the Southwest of England who are looking for a HRA accountant for a 6month period covering a long term sick.

Key responsibilities;

• Responsible for setting annual budgets in collaboration with the wider team

• Accurate monthly management of service spend against budget and the prediction of yearend forecasts

• Contribute towards the budget booklet for publication

• Ensuring that appropriate budget systems and processes are developed

• To assess performance and forecast year end financial positions

• Assisting the Principal Accountant and Group Manager for Financial Services

• Day to day cash management

• Undertake reconciliations of key control accounts

HRA experience is crucial.
