A Welsh local authority is seeking a fully qualified Food Standards Officer to carry out inspections in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out routine inspections of a variety of businesses, including multinational manufacturers
  • To undertake the duties required by legislation
  • To be performed by a Weights and Measures Inspector in order to assist the Council in meeting its statutory obligations.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • You will need to have an appropriate Food Standards qualification as listed in The Food Law Code of Practice (Wales).
  • Suitable experience and evidence of competency assessment against the Competency Framework.

 

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3 months
  • Rate: £40- £45
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Part Time
