🔹 Initial 6–9 Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Join a dynamic and supportive team within a large local authority, contributing to a high-impact fire safety programme. This is a great opportunity for professionals with housing enforcement experience—fire safety experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of a fire safety initiative.
Conduct property licensing inspections and reactive enforcement.
Represent the council at tribunals and formal proceedings.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure housing standards compliance.
Requirements:
- Valid HHSRS Certificate (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a local authority housing enforcement role.
- Environmental Health Degree
- Strong understanding of housing legislation and enforcement protocols.
