A council based in Kent is currently looking for an Environmental Health Officer specialising in Private Sector Housing to join their team and help with their workload.
The Role
- Kent based
- £40-45 per hour - Umbrella
- 37-hour per week
- Will consider part time minimum 24 hours
- February start date
- 3 months initially with potential to extend
- Hybrid – 2/3 days on site
What is Required
- Housing enforcement
- HMO licensing
- HHSRS inspections
- Serving notices.
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent (i.e. Diploma in Environmental Health)
- Registered with Environmental Health Registration Board
- Experience of securing regulatory compliance though various means
- HMO licensing and HHSRS enforcement experience
- Statutory nuisance investigation experience
