Mid-late Sept start | Full-time | Hybrid
One of our long-standing clients in East Anglia is seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer to support their Food Safety Team on an interim basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Food Hygiene Inspections in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice.
- Completing inspection reports and updating databases.
- Liaising with food business to ensure compliance and provide guidance.
- Supporting any enforcement action where necessary.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Health.
- EHRB or CIEH registered.
- Recent experience conducting food hygiene inspections for a local authority.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
- NEBOSH Certificate or above with relevant Health & Safety experience will be advantageous.
- Up-to-date competency framework.
- Minimum of 20 hours CPD record.
- Access to your own vehicles and full UK driving license.
