Picture your new office…

This stunning Grade II listed building is home to two art galleries, two theatres, three cinemas, a concert hall, and a tropical conservatory, this venue makes up one of the world's leading arts centres. Sitting alongside the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

You will act as an in-house technical expert for the engineering function in the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School, providing advice on their 20-year forward maintenance plan and annual cyclical works.

Working in unity with the Mechanical Engineering Services Manager, we need you to come in a take the lead on all things Electrical.

Joining this tight knit team, you will be reporting into the Head of Engineering & Projects with 4 direct reports and in-house engineering team. With their energy supplied by an off-site power station, this unique set up isn’t something you come across every day.

If you’re electrically biased with a degree in Building Services Engineering or associated field, and have experience managing technical services for a building, preferably in an engineering setting, then this opportunity could be your next move.
