Principal DM Officer / Team Lead
Interim Principal Planning Officer / Team Leader – Development Management
An authority in the South West is seeking an experienced Interim Principal Planning Officer / Team Leader to support their Development Management service during a period of high workload.
This is a senior, hands‑on role combining major application casework (typically 100–200 units, with potential involvement in a larger ~750‑unit scheme) with day‑to‑day leadership of a small DM team (3–4 officers).
Key requirements:
- UK local authority DM experience
- Proven track record in managing major applications
- Confident team leadership and stakeholder management
- Full UK driving licence
Contract details:
- Initial 3–4 months (potential extension to Sept)
- Hybrid working
