Senior Project Manager – Overview
- A leading social housing provider is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale fire safety remediation programme across a substantial residential portfolio.
- Reporting into a senior programme lead, you will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of fire door and fire compartmentation projects across approximately 130 buildings. This is a high-profile role offering the opportunity to manage multiple workstreams whilst helping to drive building safety compliance and resident safety outcomes.
- The organisation has a significant pipeline of remediation projects and requires a strong project management professional who can coordinate contractors, stakeholders and delivery programmes across a complex portfolio.
Senior Project Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of fire door survey and remediation programmes across multiple residential buildings.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, managing agents and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee project planning, programme management and progress reporting.
- Review quotations and manage procurement activities.
- Coordinate access arrangements with residents and managing agents.
- Monitor project delivery, quality assurance and handover processes.
- Support the delivery of fire compartmentation projects across the portfolio.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously at varying stages of delivery.
- Maintain project trackers and ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Build strong working relationships with technical specialists, quality managers and operational teams.
- Support design coordination and Gateway 2 related activities where required.
Senior Project Manager – Applicant Essentials
Essential
- Proven project management experience within construction, compliance, capital works or building safety environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to coordinate contractors, consultants and internal teams.
- Excellent organisational and programme management capabilities.
- Experience reporting on project progress, risks and delivery milestones.
Desirable
- Experience delivering fire door remediation programmes.
- Experience managing fire compartmentation projects.
- Knowledge of building safety and remediation programmes.
- Experience working within a social housing provider, residential developer or consultancy environment.
- Exposure to Gateway 2 submissions or Building Safety Act related projects.
