Senior Client Accountant

I am establishing a new Client Accounting team in London to support a high‑profile real estate portfolio covering marquee London landmarks across the West End.

This means, I am looking for Client Accountants, Senior Client Accountants and Heads of Teams, to discuss the team.

This is an opportunity to work at the centre of some of the city’s most recognisable commercial and residential destinations.

I am looking for collaborative and forward‑thinking Client Accountants who are excited by the chance to shape a newly formed team, influence processes from the outset, and work closely with Property Managers and Asset Managers.

The residential side of the portfolio is actively managed by external agents, giving this role a strong focus on partnership, communication, and high‑quality financial oversight.

As a Client Accountant, you will help deliver reliable financial management across a diverse range of assets, supporting day‑to‑day and strategic decision‑making through accurate reporting and financial insight.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the full client accounting cycle across a high‑profile London portfolio
• Preparing accurate and timely service charge accounts, reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts
• Working closely with Property and Asset Managers to provide financial analysis and insight
• Liaising with external agents responsible for operational property management
• Overseeing rent, service charge, and other income postings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supporting year-end processes, audits, and client reporting requirements
• Contributing to the development and refinement of processes as the new team grows

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Experience in property or client accounting
• Strong understanding of commercial and/or residential service charge accounting
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and a varied workload
• Interest in helping shape a new team and improving processes
• Familiarity with property accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Qube are ideal.
