Repairs Administrator required for a Local Authority in Staffordshire.
📅 Contract Details
- Type: Temporary assignment
- Duration: 6 Months initially
- Location: Hybrid - Minimum 2 office days
- Start Date: ASAP
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Awaab’s Law risk register and case tracker
- Coordinate investigations and follow-up actions, including scheduling Technical Officers for damp and mould cases and liaising with residents, contractors, and Case Officers
- Support compliance and reporting activities by checking data accuracy, preparing written summaries, and assisting with evidence collation
- Handle resident and stakeholder enquiries professionally, providing timely updates, issuing standard correspondence, and escalating complex cases when required
- Provide general administrative and team support, including managing shared inboxes, documenting meeting actions, and maintaining records
🎯 Key Skills & Experience
- Strong case management and data accuracy skills, with proficiency in Excel, CRM, or housing systems
- Excellent coordination and scheduling ability within a busy operational or compliance environment
- Awareness of Awaab’s Law and housing health standards
- Effective communication and customer service skills when working with residents, contractors, and colleagues
- Competence in reporting and administrative processes, supporting assurance and performance monitoring
