We’re looking for a proactive and customer‑focused individual to help us maintain safe, well‑managed supported housing. You’ll be the first point of contact for residents, ensuring excellent customer service, health & safety compliance, and smooth day‑to‑day estate management.
Temporary Part‑Time Housing Assistant
Location: South London Contract: Temporary, part‑time Hours: 21 hours / 3 days per week
Key responsibilities
- Support residents and liaise with families, partners, and contractors
- Carry out health & safety checks, fire safety tests, and report repairs
- Monitor estate services (cleaning, gardening, maintenance)
- Assist with tenancy issues, safeguarding concerns, and resident welfare
- Keep accurate records and provide reports when required
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT and admin experience
- Understanding of health & safety responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required
- Full driving licence required
- Willing to use your own vehicle for business use
- Basic in date DBS (or must be willing to apply for one)
