This is a pivotal role in supporting compliance with the latest housing regulations, including the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and Awaab’s Law. You’ll provide technical expertise and administrative support to manage complex cases, ensuring our housing stock meets all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management:
    • Manage damp, mould, and disrepair cases from initial referral through to completion.
    • Ensure all cases comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Voids Management:
    • Oversee the voids process, update trackers, and produce statistical reports for senior management.
    • Coordinate compliance checks (gas, electrical, asbestos) before property handover.
  • Data & Reporting:
    • Analyse property-related data including health and safety compliance (gas, electrical, fire, legionella, asbestos).
    • Produce accurate KPI reports and management information for internal teams and regulatory bodies.
  • Contract Support:
    • Provide administrative support for specialist contracts such as gas maintenance, electrical compliance, fire risk assessments, and remedial works.
    • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Maintain legally compliant asset management databases by accurately inputting certificates and property data.
    • Compile technical property information for legal cases, disrepair claims, and formal complaints.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in repairs and maintenance operations within social housing.
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract management.
  • Proven ability to manage damp, mould, and disrepair cases.
  • Familiarity with void processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong IT and data analysis skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
