We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Officer to provide administrative and operational support within our busy Repairs Team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth processes, accurate data management, and effective communication across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Repairs Team.
- Maintain and update records, databases, and spreadsheets accurately.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and team activities.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.
- Monitor and track performance data, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle general enquiries and escalate issues where necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Skills & Experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Experience using housing and repairs systems such as Orchard and Jigsaw (desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Previous experience in a business support or administrative role within housing or local authority (preferred).
