Housing Resident Liaison Officer (Planned Works & Repairs)
📍 Woking (Hybrid – office, site & resident visits)

You will act as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring clear communication, coordinating access to properties, and resolving issues quickly and effectively. This is a varied role combining office-based work with regular on-site visits to housing estates and residents’ homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the named contact for residents during works and repairs
• Support complex and high-impact repair cases
• Coordinate access arrangements to ensure smooth delivery of works
• Identify and support vulnerable residents, including safeguarding referrals
• Manage concerns and complaints, resolving issues at an early stage
• Work closely with contractors, surveyors and housing teams
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection
• Promote health & safety within occupied homes

About You:

• Experience in a resident/customer-facing role handling sensitive cases
• Background in housing, repairs, construction or similar environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to explain technical information clearly
• Proven experience resolving complaints effectively

Essential Requirement:

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to regular travel to sites and residents’ homes)
• Previous housing experience in a similar role

Desirable:

• Experience across planned works and repairs
• Knowledge of disrepair or compliance cases
