Financial Controller

I am working exclusively with a property management and client services company who are a dynamic and expanding firm seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to join finance team.

Following the acquisition of several significant new contracts, the business is entering an exciting period of accelerated growth and is looking for a proactive finance professional to help assist its financial strategy and operations.

This is a pivotal role offering scope to work alongside the Financial Director and shape the financial future of a respected, client-focused company with a strong reputation in its sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a large aspects of financial reporting and budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes and liaise with external accountants and auditors
• Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and systems
• Provide detailed financial analysis to support commercial decision-making
• Support the leadership team in delivering growth plans and maintaining profitability
• Drive improvements in financial processes and systems to support scale

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 3–4 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
• Ideally experienced in professional services or an owner-managed business
• Strong technical skills combined with commercial insight
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate financial information clearly
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
