An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Protection Team Leader to join a forward-thinking local authority in Hertfordshire on a 3 - month interim contract with potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Environmental Protection team, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Oversee the delivery of statutory Environmental Health functions, including noise, nuisance, air quality, and pollution control.
- Provide strategic direction and contribute to service development and improvement.
- Act as the lead point of contact for environmental protection matters across the authority.
Contract Details:
- Rate: Competitive (DOE)
- Location: Hertfordshire – Hybrid working (3 days on district / in office per week)
- Hours: Open to full-time or part-time candidates
