RETROFIT PROJECT MANAGER
- You will be working as a Planned Works Manager with an RP in Essex.
- You will be responsible for responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. and liaising with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to specification.
- This will be for a minimum 6 months, which will look to be extended if everyone is happy.
- You will be on a day rate of £350 – £400 per day.
- You will be on-site 2–3 days per week, with the rest working from home.
RETROFIT PROJECT MANAGER ROLE BASICS:
- Developing and managing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, risks, issues, resource allocation, cost, communication, and quality control.
- Coordinating and overseeing the execution of retrofit projects, ensuring that all phases are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conducting site inspections and evaluations to ensure the project is aligned with the retrofit design.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports to management, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Identifying potential risks and issues early, developing risk mitigation strategies, and escalating as necessary.
- Managing project changes and intervening to achieve project outputs.
- Finalising all aspects of the project, conducting post-project evaluations, and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
RETROFIT PROJECT MANAGER APPLICANT ESSENTIALS
- Proven experience as a Retrofit Project Manager or similar role.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field.
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g. MS Project).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
